Players can pick their appearance at the beginning of the game and choose either Rowlet, Litten or Popplio to begin their as-yet-unknown adventure in style. These forms are reminiscent of the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma, first revealed in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
