Kathril, Aspect Warper:

Kathril is a nightmare insect that lurks in the peaty marshes of Indatha. It uses the shifting, adaptive tendrils on its body to mimic other creatures and deceive would-be predators.

Many a monster hunter, seeing only a big bug, has ventured after what they thought was easy prey—a mistake they’ve rarely lived to learn from.

Utilise Keyword Counters:

Symbiotic Swarm leverages your creatures’ many abilities—even if those creatures have already died.

Play a wide variety of creatures and use +1/+1 and keyword counters to train and grow them into unstoppable killers. Focus on the long game and fill your graveyard before summoning a fearsome Nightmare for your opponents to deal with!

Introducing Partners:

In the world of Ikoria, some people form a special, magical bond with a monster. Nikara, Lair Scavenger and Yannik, Scavenging Sentinel share such a bond.

This duo focuses on +1/+1 counters specifically, but they synergise with all kinds of counters, which works well alongside Kathril. Nikara loves it when your creatures with counters leave the battlefield, and Yannik helps them do so, enabling some surprisingly tricky plays.
